Brent Ryan founded Bremic Carriers in 2015, with the ambition to create an industry leading trucking company, providing a positive work environment for professional drivers and first-class trucking services for a select group of clients.
Born in a trucking family, Brent’s passion for the trucking industry and the people in it are unparalleled. Riding and working with his father from a very young age, Brent’s training included working in the yard and on the dock, driving trucks, working in operations and in senior management.
After nearly 20 years in various senior management roles with a major Canadian carrier, Brent acted on his lifetime dream and opened Bremic Carriers.
Brent’s diverse experience gives him a unique perspective on the industry and in providing solutions. His integrity and respectful approach to everything he does has set the tone of our culture at Bremic Carriers.
Mike was an Owner Operator at Tri-Line when Brent met him in 2002. They kept in touch over the years and when we decided to start Bremic in 2015, Mike took a chance on us.
Mike has spent most of his time at Bremic running to the west coast with a Reintnouer Tridem Roll-Tite. He was the driving force in solidifying our relationships with our customers on the coast and made sure they were looked after.
He enjoys running BC and his driving expertise in the mountains and bad weather are what makes him exceptional at what he does. His knowledge of load securement and weight distribution is invaluable, and his insight is often requested to help with various loads
.
Over the past 4 years Mike has driven 685,000 kilometers without incident.
Over the years, we have gotten to know Mike very well and we can tell you that his beautiful wife Dianne still puts a sparkle in his eye. He values his time with his family second to none. He enjoys Harleys and takes an active part in supporting Dianne in her work with veterans.
If you see Mike in the mountains, be sure to wave and give him a huge thumbs up for all his hard work and dedication in helping make Bremic what it is today.
Dave was Brent’s first hire 18 years ago at Laidlaw / Tri-Line and they’ve been working together ever since. When Brent announced that he was starting his own company, Dave threw in his hat and joined us to start Bremic and get it off the ground.
Dave has dedicated his time over the past 4 years and 555,000 incident free kilometers to establishing Bremic’s presence in Alberta and helping create a positive (and shiny) image while developing amazing relationships with the local customers.
Dave’s strong work ethic is unparalleled and his standards for customer service are exceptional. He believes very strongly in the same core values that Bremic strives to achieve every day, which make him a great leader, although he hates for us to paint him in that light.
To say Dave ‘knows his stuff’ is a completely understatement of his knowledge of the trucking industry. His opinion and advice come from a place of great understanding, extensive experience and a strong moral compass.
Dave’s amazing love and dedication to his granddaughter is sincerely a pure joy to watch and is a constant benchmark for others to try and achieve in their own personal lives.
It’s no secret Dave likes shiny trucks, but somehow his amazing wife Brenda is able to keep him grounded – and out of the chrome store. She has proven to be his rock and his love and respect for her is unmatched.
If you meet a big shiny Peterbilt driving down the No. 2 highway, please be sure to wave and give him a salute in recognition of his hard work and dedication in helping make Bremic what it is today.
Kyle's driving career has taken him through much of North America. His experiences range from hauling over dimensional loads to transporting concert tours for Tragically Hip, Def Leopard, Poison and other bands on their North American tours.
Kyle pulled Super B’s when he started at Bremic two years ago, but he has put most of his 335,000 incident free kilometers on running a Tridem Roll-Tite between Alberta and BC.
Kyle’s experience, practical thought process and calm demeanour make him a true professional operator. Kyle’s attention to detail and problem-solving skills make him a very valuable resource to the Bremic team in developing and improving our operational processes. He has proven to be an excellent source of information and a huge help in bridging the gap between innovation and old school trucking.
His love of photography is what truly makes him unique. Many of the photographs on our website and social media are taken by Kyle. He has a keen eye for a great shot and has the talent to capture it. We are so appreciative to be able to share these amazing photos with everyone.
If you see someone with a camera and tripod pulled off on a mountain highway with a Bremic truck in the background, please be sure to honk and wave in recognition of his hard work and dedication in helping make Bremic what it is today.
